Great Chiefs: Volume II

Tony Hollihan returns to outline the lives of six more Indigenous leaders in Great Chiefs: Volume II. Similar to the first volume, each chapter provides an overview of an individual leader. Once again, the author has attempted to fictionalize as little as possible. This book could be an excellent starting point for young learners undertaking a research project on one of these famous leaders, and the short list of sources at the end will encourage them to seek out their own. From Crazy Horse to Crowfoot, this book provides enticing overviews and could be used to inspire further engagement with Indigenous figures, past and present.
