Alberta Comics: Love

Rather than presenting a single storyline or concept of love, Alberta Comics: Love is a mosaic of loves, including youthful crushes, familial love, the love of a pet, and epic romantic loves. Each of the fifty comics is a stand-alone story, with most being only a couple of pages long, and the genres and art styles varying greatly across the work. A key strength of the anthology is its accessibility: each comic is short, visually engaging, and self-contained, making the collection approachable for readers with varying literacy levels. At the same time, the anthology offers sophisticated themes that invite deeper discussion about relationships, empathy, belonging, and the ways people express care.
