Seldom Seen Road

Steeped in the environment of the prairies, Seldom Seen Road is a collection of poetry that paints vivid pictures of prairie landscapes and, in some cases, the strong women who were rooted there. While one of the three parts of the book focuses on poems inspired by historical women, the entire book is filled with poems that evoke the rich organic environment of the plains. Seldom Seen Road could easily be used to showcase forms of poetry, but it could also be used to encourage prose-minded learners to express science-based environmental relationships through poems to help engage their learning.
