Description

Following up from an earlier book focusing on the War of 1812, The Loxleys and Confederation rejoins the Loxley family in 1864 as Canadian Confederation discussions are taking place. Told through the graphic novel format with fictional diary entries, this work seeks to make this part of Canadian history a little more accessible. The involvement of Niigaanwewidam James Sinclair in the writing of this piece, including the contribution of an afterword, brings in more Indigenous perspective than the previous book and creates fertile ground for the discussion of bias in historical documents.
